Well, meet Milan Thompson, a fellow Highlander here at Doherty Memorial High School, who has a pet with all of these beautiful qualities! During this interview, we’ll get to know a little bit more about Milan, her adorable pet dog, Diamond and the special bond that they both share together.
Meet Diamond, Milan’s Pet Dog!

Q: What’s your favorite way to relax?
DIAMOND: “My favorite way to relax is laying down.”
Q: What’s the best part of your day?
DIAMOND: “The best part of my day is when my owner finally comes home from school.”
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do together with your human?
DIAMOND: “Taking walks or laying down with her and watching TV.”
Q: What’s the most adorable thing you’ve ever done?
DIAMOND: “The most adorable thing I’ve ever done is smile whenever I’m happy.”

Q: What’s your favorite memory or “tradition” with Diamond that always makes you smile?
MILAN: “Playing or going outside and taking walks whenever I can with Diamond.”
Q: Who decided to name your pet and why?
MILAN: “I decided on my pet name because I felt like it was super cute and simple.”
Q: Can you tell me about Diamond and how they became a part of your life?
MILAN: “My pet became a part of my life when I got her for Christmas 2 years ago, and she was super cute and was chill.”
Q: How old is Diamond?
MILAN: “My pet is 2 years old.”
Q: What does Diamond do to get your attention?
MILAN: “BARKS!”

Q: How long have you been her pet owner?
MILAN: “I’ve been her pet owner for 2 years.”
Q: What is Diamond’s personality like?
MILAN: “My pet is hyper, yet very chill.”
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering getting a pet?
MILAN: “I think you should get a pet because they’re super friendly and great to have.”
