The Sidemen Charity Match took place March 8 2025 at Wembley Stadium in London. The Sidemen are a YouTube group that was formed on October 19 2013 with 6 members, Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji (KSI), Simon Minter (Miniminter), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Vikram Singh Barn (Vikkstar123), Ethan Leigh Payne (Behzinga) And Tobi Brown (TBJZL). Eventually the 7th member Harold Lewis (Wroetoshaw) joined in early 2014, and this is the Sidemen! On their YouTube channel they have over 22 million subscribers and there you can find amazing content, they also have other channels for things like gaming and reacting. They also have their own channels as well with lots of subscribers that continue to grow. Now that you know who these people are, I can explain what the Sidemen Charity Match is! The Sidemen Charity Match is a football match to raise money for different charities. The first charity match took place in 2016 and the two teams that play against each other are Sidemen FC and The YouTube AllStars. The team consists of several YouTubers, streamers, and much more!

Now that you understand what the charity match is we can talk about what happened this year at the charity match! The live stream took place on The Sidemen TouTube channel and kickoff started at 3pm GMT(10am ET). Before kick off took place we got introduced to both teams down below.

The commentators of this match were Stephen Tries and Spencer FC, they kept us informed while also entertaining us with jokes during this match. As the match started everything was very close up until halftime when the score was tied at 4-4. For halftime AJ Tracey performed some of his hits and we had a surprise performance from KSI himself performing “Thick of It”. After getting back on the field the score ends up tied at 9-9 leading the match into a penalty shoot-out. The result of the penalty shootout 4-5 with the YouTube AllStars winning. This was the second win since 2017 for the YouTube AllStars and could not have gone any better.

This match was one of the most entertaining they have held, this is really big for the Sidemen as they have filled a stadium to the brim with 90k people and they raised over £4.7 million for BBC’s Children in Need, Sidemen’s Bright Side and M7 Education.

Some memorable moments from the match are when Simon scored his goal, his celebration was for his child that is on the way. We also got to see Josh score his first goal ever in a charity match which was a very exciting moment for Sidemen fans all over. We also got to see Max Fosh use a paper shredder after receiving a yellow card from the referee. One last thing to note is Sketch winning man of the match and getting his own trophy after his phenomenal performance. If you have not already, check out the Sidemen YouTube channel to watch the full charity match or just to get entertainment during a meal. Hopefully next year we get another charity match to top this amazing performance.
