Who’s ready for Summer? I know I am! If you are stumped on where to go or what to do during Summer ’25, this article is for you! Let’s face it, Summer can get a little boring sometimes. If you seem to be stuck at home on those long, hot days, you should grab a paper, some markers or pens, and make yourself a 2025 Summer Bucket List! For those who don’t know, a “bucket list” is just a simple list including all of the places you want to visit, or activities you want to be a part of. If you are having a hard time thinking or finding places/activities near you, look at the list below to get some ideas and inspiration!
Let’s start with the basics: Parks, Museums, Outdoor Activities, and Beaches! If you are looking for a great place to stay, or a beach to go to, here is a simple bucket list that can help.
1- Go on a fun adventure to Cape Cod! There is a vast variety of different beaches with the best sunsets, water parks, great ice cream places, breakfast diners, and the best restaurants for all types of dining! Some popular beaches in Cape Cod are Lighthouse Beach, Mayflower Beach, Nauset Beach, Craigville Beach, Parkers River Beach, and Coast Guard Beach! Cape Cod also contains so many different mini-golf courses, museums, and they have numerous fresh seafood places which I would always recommend checking out. (If you aren’t so big on seafood, don’t worry, almost all restaurants have other delicious options as well).
2- Boundless Adventures Zip-line and Aerial Park. Going there many times myself, this is a very fun activity for those who are very athletic & love the outdoors. Boundless Adventures has multiple levels determining the height & difficulty of the course, and if you are nervous, don’t worry! There are so many staff workers making sure everyone has a very safe, fun, and enjoyable experience. (I wouldn’t recommend this if you are extremely terrified of heights, but it can help you get over your fear by trying something new!)
3- Go to Boston for a day– from museums to duck boat tours, Boston has it all! You can walk around the city, visit the NE Aquarium, walk the 2.5-mile Freedom Trail that has 16 historic sites, go explore the Museum of Science, Take a Swan Boat Ride in the Public Garden, go to Fenway Park, take a Boston Duck Tour, Climb the Bunker Hill Monument, and much more!

4- Go to the Patriots Hall of Fame, the Red Door Escape Room, Muse Paint Bar, shop at one of many stores, or go dine at some restaurants if you visit Patriot Place (adjacent to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA).
5- All in Massachusetts, here are the more basic options of what activities you can fill your Summer with. Seaport District has a waterfront boardwalk with great views where you can take pictures with the beautiful sunset surrounding you whereas Plymouth Waterfront which has cobblestone streets with lot’s of boats in a historic harbor, and Lookout Farm (Natick) has so many sunflowers, orchards, farm animals, and a rustic look which is so relaxing for many people.
Don’t let there be a dull moment in your Summer, make every day count! I hope this short list gave you the motivation to get out and try/see new things during break. Also, make sure to complete your Summer Reading & any other Summer Work to prepare for the ’25-’26 school year. Have a safe, well rested, and a fun Summer!
