Angel Nova

A modern, original reinterpretation of the iconic Angel (1992), Angel Nova Eau de Parfum was released in June 2020. Now owned by L’Oréal Group, Mugler launched the then-fashion house in the 1970s. Creators of the Angel Nova perfume were Sonia Constant, Louise Turner and Quentin Bisch. The perfume bottle has the shape of an asymmetrical star, mixed with its “vibrant rose color transforms the star, adding power and presence to the fragrance.” The prices range from (USD) 100ml for $159.99, 50 ml for $132.00, 30 ml for $95.00, 10 ml for $35.00, and 100 ml refill for $116.00.
Overall Scent & Notes
Known for its bold, vibrant, and berry scent, in my opinion, it is best worn in the winter season. The intense sillage left in the air intensifies in cold climates and leaves you feeling an extra confident boost. Angel Nova’s top notes include raspberry and lychee – adding a fruity, pleasurable, and natural bitterness to the sweet damascena rose, which forms the perfume’s middle note. Lastly, its base notes build a strong contrast and character to the rest of the concoction. The Akigalawood seamlessly blends in with benzoin, creating a warm, woody aroma. The perfume exhibits impressive longevity and has a mostly unisex scent. To conclude, I would rate this a 9.5 out of 10!
Dupes for this fragrance include Lattafa Mayar and Maison Alhambra Alive Now, both known for their similar takes on Angel Nova’s notes. What other dupes can you find?
