It’s the homecoming season! A way to gather school spirit and get excited for what the school year entails. Are you going to homecoming? Well, this is what you need to know.

Homecoming is Friday, October 3, 2025. This includes Doherty’s homecoming football game that starts at four o’clock and will be played at our Doherty field. Show up and show out for your fellow Highlanders! Following the football game will be the third annual homecoming dance in the school cafeteria. The dance will be from 6-9pm. Tickets will be sold from September 22nd to 26th for a total of ten dollars at all lunches at the table in the cafeteria.

It is important to know a few key details for the dance: only Doherty students allowed, students will be checked for their name when they come in the door, and food and drink is provided alongside your ticket!

With all this information in mind you can now be prepared for an amazing October 3rd. Put on your nicest clothes, that dress or button up, you name it. Or just come as you are! Homecoming will be a great start to your October so come on over and have fun.
