Released in 2024, Bath & Body Works’ Viva Vanilla Fine Fragrance Mist got mixed reactions from people. Some say it smells really harsh and like alcohol at first, but once it dries down, it turns into a dark, gothic vanilla scent. This dermatologist tested, great coverage fragrance was designed for a luxurious, everyday use. Viva Vanilla is unfortunately unavailable on their official website, but prices listed are (USD) $18.95 for 8 fl oz / 236 mL, and &8.95 for a 2.5 fl oz / 75 mL Travel Size. However, on their official website, approximately 68.84% of reviews voted 5 stars based on price and scent.
Overall Scent & Notes
Viva Vanilla’s notes include a rich plum scent blended in with glowing amber and addictive vanilla. I would say the fragrance gives off more of a diurnal, late-fall or early-winter feeling rather than a hot, summer night one, for sure. Wearers compare the smell to cashmere, with a smokier and more “grown-up” vanilla aroma that doesn’t scream too sweet. It offers wearers a well-balanced performance with its moderate longevity and sillage. Reviewers, could easily envision themselves surrounded by snowflakes falling on a dark, winter night, or cozying up near a fireplace in a cabin. In my opinion, Viva Vanilla falls in the unisex-feminine side of fragrances for wearers. To bring things to a close, I would rate this a 9 out of 10!
