This week, we’re gonna be diving into everything you need to know about mascara. You’ll learn how to see how budget options go against bougie favorites, but the real debate isn’t length versus volume, it’s budget versus bougie.

My two favorites in the length category are the L’Oreal Telescopic which goes for about $12.99 and Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara which goes for $29. The telescopic skinny wand really grabs every lash and keeps them separated. Just be careful, as you can’t do too many coats otherwise it will clump.

The Benefit mascara also takes the same idea, but of course you pay for what you get. This product is a smoother formula that lasts longer, and doesn’t smudge, leaving lashes looking almost airbrushed. Even though telescopic proves you don’t have to spend a lot for dramatic length, the Benefit does really deliver a more refined finish that might be worth the extra cost, if you want something that is longer wearing.
