Hi! My name is Shayna Joseph and I’m a freshman here at Doherty! I joined the newspaper because I love writing and I want to continue building my college resume to hopefully become a future journalist. A few fun facts about me are that I’m a cancer, I’m Haitian, I speak French-Creole,  I want to go to college at USC and I am a proud Upward Bound Scholar! I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything, such as; robotics, soccer, music, and Model UN. I have also participated in Bancroft’s summer program. In my free time I enjoy baking, listening to music, writing, reading, and working on my blog. 

My goal here at Highlander’s Herald is to share what’s going on in this world — good or bad — and to gain more experience by learning new things.
