I am a freshman Student Council representative here at Doherty Memorial High School. Thrilled to be writing for the student newspaper, I hope to one day take my writing further and be the author of my own books. Writing and reading brings me peace and is an escape from reality so, one day I hope to impact others and provide them safety in my books. Other than reading and writing, I am a big sports person. I have played softball since I was six years old and play volleyball and basketball as well. Another hobby of mine is playing guitar and violin, or simply listening to music on Spotify. Loving to try new things, I am all about health and living your life to the fullest. As a young woman in the 21st century, I hope to learn from others around me and put more happiness in the world than before.
So, here’s to the new newspaper and voices being heard!
