What a tragic ending for all of the Pats fans in the country, but an exhilarating one for the Seahawk’s fans! On Sunday, February 8th, 2026, with 70,823 fans in the stands, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks went head-to-head in the Super Bowl. Located in Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA, Charlie Puth sung the National Anthem, Brandi Carlile with “America the Beautiful”, Coco Jones’ beautiful singing, and finally, Green Day’s electrifying concert performance. Following those extremely exciting performances, the coin flip occurred with the Seahawks picking tails and losing the coin flip, as it was heads. The Patriots chose to go with defense first.

The First Quarter was very slow for the Pats, but the Seahawks’ defense dominated very early. Jason Myers kicked a field goal which led the Seahawks 3-0, while the Patriots offense stalled repeatedly all quarter. Second Quarter came and the Seahawks added two more field goals, while the Patriots failed to score once again. The Halftime score was Seahawks: 9, Patriots: 0. The Halftime Show was a great Celebration of Latin music and culture, featuring a very high-energy performance headlined by Bad Bunny, with well-known special-guest appearances by Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Karol G, Young Miko, Lady Gaga, and Ricky Martin. Songs performed during the Halftime show includes: Tití Me Preguntó, Dákiti, Callaíta, Me Porto Bonito, and BAILE INoLVIDABLE. After the amazing halftime break, the Third Quarter started with yet another field goal against the Patriots, putting up an additional 3 points, with the Patriots still scoreless. Seahawks 12, Patriots 0. After that very boring first three quarters, events finally start to heat up quick in the Fourth Quarter! All the major action occurred, with the Seahawks defensive touchdown by Uchenna Nwosu intercepting Drake Maye’s pass, returning it forty-five yards for a touchdown. Seahawks jump ahead 19-0, and just when everyone is starting to think the Pats won’t be able to score at all this game, they finally score their first TD, followed by a 2-point conversion. The score is now 19-8, Seahawks leading by a landslide. As we all figured were to happen, the Seahawks sealed up the game after Kenneth Walker III rushed for a touchdown, extending the Seahawk’s lead, 26-8. The Patriots did manage to score one last touchdown, right before Jason Myers kicked his 5th field goal for the night.
After the confetti rained down everywhere, the Seahawks claimed their trophy, celebrating their second Super Bowl Championship ever, with the night ending in lots of very emotional interviews, celebrations, and happiness spread all around from their fans. As well as winning the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawk’s running back, Kenneth Walker III, was named MVP of the Super Bowl LX after rushing 135 yards and scoring a touchdown, contributing majorly to the Seahawk’s victory. The Final Score for the Super Bowl of 2026 was the Seattle Seahawks coming up victorious at 29 points & the New England Patriots coming up short at just 13 points.
