Ever heard of a Spring Fling? It’s just like any dance for high schoolers; music, decorations, etc. But what’s special is that this is Doherty’s FIRST EVER Spring Fling! It’s better than you would imagine.
Who?
Planned by your sophomore and freshmen class officers, this Spring Fling is for freshmen and sophomores only.
When?
The dance will be held Friday, May 1st. Taking place from 5:00-8:30, be prepared to watch the sunset!
Where?
Instead of the cafeteria, the Spring Fling will be in Doherty’s courtyard (outside).
How to dress?
A little different from Homecoming, this is still a Semi-Formal dance but with a theme of Spring. Light colors, or anything that screams new beginnings.
Where can I buy a ticket/how much?
Tickets will be sold by your class officers at all lunches the few weeks leading up to the dance. They will be $10 each.
What’s the twist?
Your ticket guarantees you pizza however, the class officers are having a Kona Ice Truck! Keep your ticket and cash it in for a free Kona Ice!
Be prepared to kick off May right with a dance that you will forever remember. Bring your friends, (remember only Doherty students allowed) or even a date. May 1st, you heard it here first.
