2K26 a new beginning. A new season. A team to make history.
With Coach Spellane, Forget, and Ober, the girls are ready. The first matchup is against Tantasqua on Thursday, April 2nd at Tantasqua Regional Senior High School. Putting in a run for their money at 4 o’clock, the Junior Varsity will also play against Tantasqua at their home Field, Beaver Brook at 4 o’clock.
An exciting time for everyone, Senior Captain Caleigh Moriarty shares, “This season my plan is to take it all in. I am very excited to work hard, win games, and hangout with my teammates throughout the season.” Playing softball since she was 4, the Highlanders have great talent to put them over the top.
Senior Captain Sarah Defusco additionally shows her excitement for the upcoming season, especially for their first game. Defusco states, “We have great team chemistry and we are here to have fun and put in the work.” Also giving her goals for the season, she hopes for the team to make it as far as they can in playoffs. “Our team has so much potential, and I can’t wait to get out to Tantasqua and hopefully start this season off with a win!”
