In our communities there are individuals that would benefit from a little help during a season of their lives; we’ve all been there. The amazing thing about donating and helping others in need is knowing the ripple effect you will have on that person. Through the Planting the Seed Foundation (100% volunteer-run local organization), you have a chance to achieve that ripple effect.
Yet again, Doherty is doing Toys for Tots, meaning Dr. Mulcahy is collecting “new, unwrapped toys and gift cards” that can be dropped off in her classroom, (E052) the container in C311, or if you reach out she will collect them from you.
A wonderful part of this donation process is it is accessible to everyone. You have the option to give online and can find gifts on the 2025 Amazon Wish List here.
Donations will be supplied to students as well as families in our beautiful community by providing them through common organizations like the Friendly House, You Inc., and local shelters. Any gift makes a difference in someone’s mood and overall existence.
We appreciate everyone who donates or tries to make their own positively charged ripple effect. And for the teens, staff, or children and families that might be struggling: we see you, we hear you, and we support you. Let’s make some changes, Highlanders!
