The Highlanders Class of 2025 made their final pep rally one to remember — packed with laughter, friendly rivalries, and a whole lot of school spirit. Sponsored by AllCom Credit Union (shoutout to CEO Laura Ebarra, Class of ’98, and Branch Manager Jenn Gallucci!), this event was a full-throttle celebration of our soon-to-be graduates.
The energy was electric from the moment the first game of musical chairs kicked off. Students scrambled, dodged, and dove for seats while the crowd cheered wildly. But that was just the beginning. From high-stakes seniors vs. teachers dodgeball (with the teachers looking for a third straight win), to air mattress races and a balloon-popping frenzy, the gym was buzzing with non-stop action.
The crowd was on their feet when the teacher dodgeball team took the floor — undefeated in two years and ready to defend their crown. Despite a fiery effort from the seniors, the teachers managed to clutch the win once again, adding another year to their streak and proving they’ve still got it!
Breakdancing stole the show mid-way through, hyping up the juniors and keeping the energy sky-high. But the spotlight belonged to the seniors, who brought the fire, the fun, and — ultimately — the victory. In a nail-biting finish, the seniors edged out the juniors by just one point, securing the Pep Rally Games trophy. Class President Maame Akyeampong and student representative Morgan Gentilucci proudly hoisted the hardware, marking a perfect cap to their high school pep rally career.
Speaking of Morgan and Maame — both were crowned in this year’s senior superlatives! Morgan, the undeniable spark plug of the class, took home “Most Likely to Be the Life of the Party,” while Maame was voted “Most Likely to Become a Billionaire” (we see it!). And of course, no pep rally would be complete without a laugh — thanks to Class Clown Nomar Velazquez Torres, who kept spirits high and smiles wide.
But perhaps the most iconic moment of the afternoon? Sweet, sweet revenge. After getting pied in the face at the last pep rally, Ms. Gagne wasn’t about to let the Class of 2025 graduate without payback! She landed a perfect pie on student Jazlin Garcia — and then Jazzy pied her back, bringing it all full circle in a whipped cream-covered truce that had the crowd roaring.
From obstacle courses to inflatable chaos, this pep rally had it all. It was loud, chaotic, emotional, and full of heart — just like the Class of 2025.
Congratulations, seniors — you’ve left your mark, and the Highlander spirit will never forget it.
