And just like that, it’s that time of year again… Pep Rally season. Doherty will host its annual February Pep Rally next week!
Held the Friday before break, this year it falls on the 13th. Tickets are three dollars and will be sold at all lunches next week, leading up to the pep rally.
The best part of it all? In the midst of Student Council spirit week festivities, the pep rally holds the famous Color Wars.
- Freshman: Black & White
- Sophomores: Green
- Juniors: Red
- Seniors: Blue
To make it that much sweeter… Doherty winter sports will be showcased in the start of the pep rally. Even if you’re not on a team you can kick your Highlander pride up a notch and dress in your class color. Tutus, glasses, necklaces, and colored clothing are just a few examples of what you could do.
Like always, the pep rally will include games that students can sign-up for!
Once you sign up, little slips for each game are required. Attend the mandatory meeting next week and receive slips or at lunch. Students will be able to pie a teacher too later on in the pep rally!! Don’t miss it, periods six and seven. You are going to pep, pep, away.
